Guarantee the birds were off display for a day or maybe even an hour and a sign was out to imply they were off exhibit. The "Improving Your Zoo" sign is used 99% of the time to do this even when renovations don't take place.

Zoo officials claim that Anana is showing signs that she is pregnant.

Ahh don't get my hopes up! Fingers cross an ultrasound finally works on a polar bear and something is found.

Cincinnati Zoo has CONFIRMED a pregnancy...but it's for Isla the southern tamandua. I am beyond thrilled!! They featured it on a instagram live video. I'm sure more announcements about it will be posted soon. Baby is due in November. The father is Salvador.

According to the post the zoo sent 2 of the John and Imani’s cubs to a zoo in Colorado. Does anyone know which zoo this might be?

African Lions. I'd guess either Cheyenne Mountain or Denver, with my intuition leaning towards Cheyenne Mountain.

Cheyenne Mountain has not gotten any new lions. They are currently at capacity. Haven’t heard anything from Denver which would be the only AZA facility that might have room for more lions but they already have two groups so I’d be surprised if they got another bachelor group.

I know the black bears moved to Colorado, so I am curious if "also" means the lions were sent to a Colorado zoo too or if they just tagged them on as to say they were, in general, also moving.

Thank you very much for posting this. Breathtaking (the technology and the exhibit). I understand that it is, again, a rendering but this may have resolved my fear that Elephant Trek would be two exhibits. It appears now that it will be one, which is four acres. This reopens up the question, could Elephant Reserve be home to bulls or will they be mixed here as the VR shows? If only this rendering answered the questions about the wild sheep and primates.

I think we can now rule out the possibility of the platform also being the indoor viewing.
