    Thanks for the reply.

Alas, time and again us Europeans seem to be under discriminatory circumstances where due to legitimate privacy concerns here in a digital world we continue to be denied access to content as the other overseas IT capabilities are as yet unable to deal with this digitally and let us Eiropeans simply read.

This continues to create mishaps for well over 1 year or more now. One wonders how much longer this truly bizar inability to deal with the issue at your end. I can only but live in hope it might get sorted all be it for me rather sooner than later!

Turns out the Beer Garden at the future Roo Valley is already open - and the rest of the construction progress is visible from the deck. Yes I'll post photos.

    Other changes:

Tawny Frogmouth replaced Spectacled Owl in Night Hunters

They're adding a fake tree, several mock rocks, and a stream in the snow leopard exhibit

The Colobus monkeys in Gorilla World have been replaced with Ring-tailed lemurs

You can't get upclose to the indoor gorilla window as they are getting new residents used to the area

There is no longer a sign for the Helmeted turtle in the Butterfly Aviary (World of the Insect) - I was told it was the oldest resident at the zoo. Also a Chinese crocodile replaced the Black Tree Monitors.

In Manatee Springs, there's another large snake in with the Burmese python, but it isn't labelled. A Dusky pygmy rattlesnake replaced the Marine Toads.

In Jungle Trails, the Grey bamboo lemur is off display (again), but there is now a potto replacing the galagos in the middle nocturnal enclosure.

Wolf Woods is closed off as they convert the sea lion exhibit into a penguin habitat.

Within the new sloth expansion (the floor part), three-banded, six-banded and screaming armadillos are rotating.

An updated species list will be up tonight.

    From the Zoo's Facebook:

We're very sorry to report that Walter the warthog passed away yesterday. Walter was very popular with guests and beloved by Zoo employees. Many of you got to interact with Walter when he was a young ambassador and was small enough to participate in the wild encounters program. He outgrew that role but continued to enjoy attention from visitors and responded enthusiastically when people called him by name when they saw him running around his home in our African Savannah. He was behaving normally until yesterday when he didn't eat all of his food. Since that's quite unusual for Walter, vets examined him and found an extremely enlarged bladder that was most likely caused by a blocked urethra. They will perform a necropsy to learn more. Sadly, since he showed no signs of discomfort, there was no way to identify the problem before it was too late.
