I just finished writing an article on: Cleethorpes Zoo and Marineland I thought it may be of interest to some readers. Though it does not go into great depth it does fill in some of the gaps in the history of the collection. Many thanks, a very intresting article. I'm intrigued by the mention of "three regular 'winter' zoos in the center of Leeds, Glasgow or Newcastle." Does anyone have any information on these which, if my memory serves me well, I've not heard of before. It's possible they may have been dealt with in a Clin Keeling book but I can't remember them and, great reading that they are, they don't have indexes.
Thank you that was really interesting. We used to holiday there when I was little and I'm sure we must have visited
Thanks, I am interested in the history of British Dolphinaria. Got a website, which needs to be updated. Gave it a tweet too.
