What reason do you have to believe that Randers are getting komodo dragons? There is no official announcement from Randers that they should be getting komodo dragons anytime in the near future. Maybe when they open Planet Randers some time around 2020. The most likely zoo in Denmark to get komodo dragons at the moment is Jesperhus Junglezoo. At least they are actively pursuing it.

These days, there is a group of people from some danish zoo here at Prague zoo, they came to pick up experience with keeping and handling/training of komodo dragons, before they´ll get their first animals. But I don ´t know from which zoo exactly they are.
Well, it would be quite nice if we finally got Komodo dragons in Denmark. They are one of the relatively common and/or well-known zoo animals we lack, together with e.g. maned wolves, mandrills and dolphins.
It has now been confirmed on Randers Tropical Zoo's Facebook page that they are getting komodo dragons in the near future. Apparently a new exhibit is being built for them in the Asia Dome.
