Does anybody know, which free Fieldguide is the present one ? Is it still the 2008 edition like on the picture, or do they have published a new edition since then ? And do they have a new guidebook on sale ? I've enclosed the cover pic of the first "real"guidebook, which was published in 2005. Thanks for the information in advance !
Wow, thats a little wonder... Unuassally cover.... I've seen it on Ebay, thanks for the link, gerenuk.
I knew they were doing a new guide book (I'm friends with the author) so it sounds like I will need to make another visit and pick one up.
Any new Guidebook, Fieldguide or other printed materials are available ? I think, the new Jaguar exhibit should be completet by now.
That is not a shocker. Dallas World Aquarium has a bewildering selection of rarities, but for many of them the facility has the absolute smallest exhibit in the nation. You name the animal and DWA will provide it with a few square feet of space and cram the facility with an awesome array of critters. All of the species found there have much larger enclosures at practically every single zoo and aquarium on the continent and to say that space is at a premium is to state the obvious. My preference would be to see fewer animals and better exhibits but the establishment has a rabid fan base amongst zoo enthusiasts who tick off lifetime species lists.
Very interesting indeed-but can anybody give me an answer to my orginal question ? It wasn't my Attention starting here in this thread an off-topic discussion about DWA.( but we can move it to the correct thread...)
