I'll post part 3 of the zoo's past master plan:
    Odyssey of the Himalayas

Odyssey of the Himalayas is a renovation of the former elephant house and the enclosures surrounding it, which are still featured in this area. It features animals native to the Himalayan Mountain Range and India, and is the first part of the Asian section:

    0.3 Wild Yak

    1.4 Himalayan Tahr

    1.2 Bharal

    1.1 Snow Leopard

    1.0 Indian Rhino

    1.2 Wild Bactrian Camel

    1.1 Red Panda

    2.0 Himalayan Black Bear

    0.1 Himalayan Brown Bear

    0.2 Himalayan Porcupine

    Description:

The exhibit opens with a rocky arch, and a sign reads “Odyssey of the Himalayas”. When you walk in, an enclosure with rising and sloping terrain is on the left, and Wild Yaks roam on them, along with a stand to feed the yaks for $5 (and whatever the pound equivalent is). The rocks behind them is a playground for Himalayan Tahr and Bharals. The rocks of the tahr and bharal come around the yak’s habitat and through the rocks, a tunnel comes out of them, and a large netted enclosure is behind the rocks, and houses Snow Leopards. The tunnel goes to a traditional Nepalese building, which is their indoor exhibit. The building has a mirror panel, with the reflective side facing the cats, allowing privacy for the leopards. The main habitat allows the animals to climb on the rocks and even on pine trees in the habitat. A climbing frame also allows them to climb as well. The marketplace is full of buildings, including a fudge place called “Bharal Brownies”, which includes a view of a Himalayan Quail and Himalayan Monal aviary, which is full of bushes and has a rock in the middle, which the birds use for roosting. Another building has black tinted glass, and inside is a forest environment for a sister pair of Himalayan Porcupines. At the end of the village, an abandoned building is chipped away with glass on the side of the guests. It shows a view of both rescue Himalayan Black Bear cubs, now fully grown, and a pregnant Himalayan Brown Bear, which are on rotation, have the building to themselves, along with access to an outdoor yard with a small pool. The path then goes down, and a large building comes into view, along with a paddock for an Indian Rhino and Wild Bactrian Camels. The building is walkthrough, and has elephants on the roof, along with elephant symbols above the door. Inside, a large, open sandy enclosure is on the left, with a path going straight forward. The walls adorn information and conservation for the rhinos, as well as the camels. Once exited, the last enclosure is a red panda island, formerly holding orangutans. It has been expanded, and now allows the pandas to relax on branches of a fir tree. The path then goes forward towards the second part of Asia, the Realm of the Tiger.

Spokane Zoo is a mid-size family-centric zoo in eastern Washington State, USA. Its exhibits are based around basic human-animal interactions as well as concepts in ecology and animal behavior.

    Have no Fear
This building is home to animals known to cause fear in humans. Throughout are signs about the life and stigma about these animals and why people shouldn't fear them.

First is the Flying High section. There are exhibits for three species of bats: vampire, Egyptian fruit, and big brown. There is also an exhibit for honeybees.

Next is the Down to Earth section. This part is home to snakes, spiders, cockroaches, and mice and rats. It starts with a section themed around and decorated like an American suburban home. There are exhibits for common garter snakes, black widow spider, brown recluse spider, German cockroaches, house mice, fancy mice, Norway rats, fancy rats, Brazilian wandering spider (for the occasional grocery store banana stowaway), Chilean rose-hair tarantula (representing pet tarantulas), corn snake (pet snake), ball python (pet snake), and rat snake. The Down to Earth section is called In the Wild. Next to each other are two terrariums: one with a California king snake and another with Western diamondback rattlesnake and gopher tortoise to show the king snake's predatory tendencies towards rattlesnakes and rattlesnake's use of tortoise burrows. Next is an exhibit for Madagascar hissing cockroaches. Next are exhibits for king cobra, reticulated python, and Goliath bird eating spider.

Last is the aquatic section. There are two tanks: one for red-bellied piranhas and one with nurse, blacktip, and black-banded cat sharks living in a tank with other aggressive marine fish to show that sharks can get along with other creatures.

    Alien Invasion
This building is dedicated to species known to be invasive in other parts of the world. It starts with three large aquariums: one with snakehead trout, another with Asian carp, and a third with red lionfish. Inside the building are exhibits for cane toad, Asian longhorned beetle, Norway rats, European rabbits, and information about Colombia's invasive hippos complete with a hippopotamus skeleton. When you leave the building, you come upon a community paddock with dromedary camels.

    Camouflage
This building is home to stick insects, orchid mantises, gaboon viper, flounders, giant Pacific octopus, mimic octopus, and stonefish.

    Hibernation
This exhibit is home to black bears, wood frog, striped skunk, marginated tortoise, and European hedgehog.

    Unique Homes
This exhibit is home to bald eagles, burrowing owls, black-tailed prairie dogs, North American beavers, a mix of meerkats and aardvarks, and a coral reef with ocelaris clownfish and anemones.

    The Farm
This exhibit is dedicated to domestic animals and their wild counterparts. Many breeds are represented to sow the sheer diversity within a specie's breed. Exhibited next to each other are domestic chickens of varying breeds and red junglefowl, donkeys and Somali wild asses, gray wolves, sheep of varying breeds and Armenian moufloun, pigs of varying breeds and Anatolian boar (sourced from overseas zoos), goats of varying breeds and bezoar ibex (sourced from overseas zoos), Africa wild cat (sourced from overseas zoos), domestic ducks of varying breeds and wild mallards, domestic water buffalo and wild water buffalo, domestic geese of varying breeds and greylag geese, llamas and guanaco, alpacas and vicuna, domestic horses of varying breeds and Przewalski's wild horses (to educate about the last wild horses), and yaks.
