You can now vote for names for the cubs: The boy names are Art, Ned, Crocker, Brad, Chadwick and Mahomes. The girl options are Jackie, Moxie and Faith.

I'll be voting for Art since one of my sons is called Art. Well, actually I won't since you have to pay to vote. But you know, the idea is there; and I hope it gets chosen.

Donate to Dickerson Park Zoo, help pick out names for new cheetah cubs

The Cheetah cubs have been named Art, Crocker and Faith.

Like I said before, I'm stoked they chose Art.

Janis the sloth has died; currently no plans to acquire more sloths:

Dickerson Park Zoo sloth Janis has died of natural causes at age 29

Janis, a Linne’s two-toed sloth, died peacefully sometime in the night between Tuesday and Wednesday at Springfield's Dickerson Park Zoo. Friday would have been her 30th birthday. She died of natural causes, according to the zoo.

Janis came to Springfield in November 2017 from another Accredited Zoos and Aquariums location, and she was often seen resting in her bucket at the sloth exhibit.
