Jardim Zoológico de Lisboa Dolphin tank Zoo Lisbon

Hi,

Next year we hope to visit Lisbon Zoo. I would like to get some more information about their dolphin pools.

Does someone knows:
- When the dolphin pool was opened?
- How many water contains it?
- Why did they build another pool? And when was it build?

- Are they holing sealions or dolphins in this pool?
- How many liter water contains the second pool?

Does no one knows something about the dolphinarium of zoo Lisbon?

I have visited Lisbon Zoo and its dolphinarium a couple of years ago. I would rate it as one of the better Dolphinariums in Europe. Also, even the show was only in Portuguese (which I am not able to speak), it was interesting for foreign visitors as well. And about the presented dolphin skills/tricks I would say: Not Seaworld USA level, but not far away of it.

I don't remember how many dolphins were there. I guess 5 or 6. And no subadult (or at least not in the show).
