    Quick question.

Pig was orphaned - how and where did the other dugong come from???

The female was also brought in as an injured youngster.

Dugong are also held at the Toba Aquarium in Japan. And since the early 1990's. So, they certainly have longevity if well cared for.

Will come back though if they have ever bred there. Not entirely sure.

I visited SeaWorld in December and was also wondering where and what about the other animal, because whilst there was every bit of information available on 'Pig', there was not a single word mentioned on the other animal whatsoever. Perhaps it did not matter too much, in light of that the other was probably a rehab as well, but still. And for the record, Singapore Underwater World also has a rehab dugong. I would have seen it on my way from Australia in January, when I had a week stopover in Singapore (for what reason is anyone's guess :) but it was off exhibit due to 'experimentations' as one of the staff members explained to me.
