After asking on a Dutch forum, it appears that these new chimps SBB said they had aren't real. These are the chimp groups as of right now:

Bachelor group (5) = Dennis, Gert-Jan, Daan, Wouter, Sanne

Socrates' group (9) = Socrates, Marlies, Michelle, Pepa, Fangina, Martje, Stephan, Jozi, Inosha

Wakili's group (10) = Anna-Clara, Lenny, Centa, Linda, Nadine, Joke, Marijke, Wakili, Julian, Lily

Also, AAP have confirmed to me that the 21 chimps (minus Iris who has since been confirmed as onshow) I listed as in quarantine are correct.

Orang-utan female Radja has passed away at Apenheul at the age of 53. She was the oldest orangutan in the group and the oldest in the Netherlands. This brings the Apenheul group down to 4.6, and the total Dutch population of orangs to 7.10

A disproportion of number of population of orangutans and Western lowland gorillas in the Netherlands, in comparassion to situation in Europe as a whole:

    Number of Western lowland gorillas:
    -in Europe: 470
-in Netherlands: 63 (13.4% of the European population) (third largest population in Europe after UK (102?) and Germany (100?); France (55?), Spain (45?); Switzerland? Belgium? Poland? Sweden? Denmark? Hungary? Austria?)

    Number of orangutans:
    -in Europe: 390
-in Netherlands: 17 (4.4% of the European population)

Seems that interest for orangutans in Netherlands is decreasing, and once upon a time, Indonesia was a part of Dutch Empire (till 1949 I think) :p

Another major setback is that gorilla groups can get between one and five babies in a year (sometimes more) depending on the size of a group, as they live in a harem society, whereas orang-utans have long periods between getting babies and are shy and retiring to begin with. This therefore means the orang population in the Netherlands isn't increasing much (what with only three adult males and a few females of breeding age (I think only 6 out of 9), of which 2 have currently got offspring and 3 have birth implants.

I think that once Damai reaches an older age he should be moved to start a new colony in a different Dutch zoo together with Samboja and Dayang from Apenheul. Samboja and Dayang's father is a founder animal, and Damai's mother is a founder herself so it would be perfect to continue the bloodline.

As for which zoo should get them, I personally think either Amersfoort, Gaia or Beekse Bergen. The remaining zoos with apes have all gone out of orang-utans/don't have much space (Burgers', Artis and Blijdorp have all gone out of orangutans, and Dierenrijk doesn't have much room for them).

SBB definitely have enough space to accommodate three young orangutans.

FYI: Rotterdam - Blijdorp has planned for quite some time to rehouse orangs (somewhere along the future masterplanning timeline). No definite date(s) or planning though for now.

The zoo is thinking of moving Jambo and his sons out of the group (and likely to another collection) to form a bachelor group as he has produced enough offspring. Plans are still being worked out for some of his daughters and females to be moved around to other collections too (eg the Gyasi or M'Fugaji to Beekse Bergen rumours). If these plans do happen a new silverback will be brought in.

Seems a new Gorilla has arrived at Beekse Bergen : N'Washi.
At Stichting AAP 5 new chimps have already arrived or will come soon. Because of the rescue of these 5 chimps the White-handed gibbons had to leave and are now in Belgium at Dierenpark De Zonnegloed.

Apparently, according to them themselves, there are not 5 new chimps at AAP. Rather, the gibbons were living in the chimp complex and have been moved out to provide potential room for 5 chimps that could be rescued or brought in in the future.
There are still 27 male and 14 female chimpanzees at AAP.

At Beekse Bergen the first matings between Komale and N'Washi have been observed so everything seem to go well overthere :) !

Stichting AAP have received two new chimpanzees, a male called Hiasl (pronounced hee-sl) and a female called Rosi. Both were born in approx. 1982 in the wild (so are assumedly P.t.v) and were saved from their captors and transported to an Austrian rescue centre, where they have lived from the 80s until recently.

This brings the Stichting AAP total to 43; 28 males and 15 females.

Female chimpanzee Christa has given birth to a baby at Dierenrijk. The father is Wakili (male at Beekse Bergen). This brings the group to 3.4.1, and means that the baby is a pure PTV like its parents.

You can help choose a name for the baby. It shall be called Jibbe, Jouri or Rafiki if it's a boy, and Fien, Leentje or Kibibi if it's a girl :)

Baby chimp has been confirmed as a girl, so it shall either be named Fien, Leentje or Kibibi.

Also some sad news, Frits, one of the most prolific male chimpanzees in the EEP, died at Dierenrijk on the 17th August at the approximate age of 50. This leaves the Dierenrijk group at 2.5

Bringing the total number of bonobos in the Netherlands to 11 and the total number of apes in total to 201
