Does have or know where I can find any good drawn exhibit renderings that zoo's put out to the public. I'm trying to get a good collection of jpgs of exhibit renderings on my hard drive or maybe on a flickr account. I enjoy looking at them and I want to try and draw some exhibits on my own, but I need some pictures to understand the art form and such. If you have some links to exhibit renderings could you post them here? Any of them will do.
Zoolex only gives the overview as a site plan. Though, the site plans do help me, I'm looking for drawings of exhibits for concept.
Some examples in the public domain from Eccleston George if that's any use: Future developments at the Isle of Wight Zoo Zoological work - a set on Flickr (drawings at end of set)
I believe that with some searching you'll find a great many linked here on ZooChat. Many threads announcing new exhibits include such links. Also, if you look at the websites of the zoo designers, you'll see more: www.clrdesign.com www.jonesandjones.com www.t-dcl.com www.porticogroup.com www.studio-hansonroberts.com www.bernardharrisonandfriends.com
Thanks for the links. I got a better understanding of how exhibit designing works now. That Jones and Jones group is amazing. I found their Long Range Development Guidelines for the Woodland Park Zoo, best reading I've had ever.
