Favourite animals at Chester and top 5 you want them to get

    I'm interested in what you guys think of this.
    My favourites are
    Komodo Dragons
    False gharial
    Reticulated pythons
    Gaboon vipers
    White lipped tree vipers
    Jaguars
    Sudan cheetah
    Sumatran tigers
    Eastern black rhinos
    Cassowary
    Spectacled caiman
    Asian elephant
    Okapi

    Top 5 I wish Chester had
    Clouded leopard
    African,Sri Lankan or Persian leopard
    Puma
    Saltwater crocodile or Gharial
    Black Caiman

    It would be really interesting if Chester got a pair of clouded leopards.I think they would end up in Islands.

    Will probably only happen if they build a huge nocturnal exhibit!

    I suggest you look at what Chester works with in the wild,as if they aren't working with a species in the wild,or with an in situ conservation program the chances,of a species arriving are slim to none!

    Favourites: blue-crowned hanging parrot, Boelen's python, bushdog, butterfly barb, golden mantella, Indian rhino, painted batagur, ploughshare tortoise, Sumatran orang, tuatara.
    Wishlist: bear cuscus, Darwin's frog, lamena (Paretroplus nourissati), Madagascar dwarf chameleon (Brookesia minima), solitary lory.
    I have tried to choose species of all types of vertebrate and my wishlist only includes species that have not been kept at Chester (as far as I am aware).

    Shoebill
    Pangolin (very unlikely I know)
    Gernuk
    Tamandua
    Another large predator species (bear, canid or cat any would do though I would like to see asiatic black bear in my dreams)

    My list was in no particular order but they aren't my absolute favourite species to see at Chester, since I see them almost every day.

    Like what? As soon as you mentioned small cats I thought oncilla, rusty-spotted cat and black-footed cat....

    I started off thinking Eurasian Lynx and Fishing cat. and that lead to increasingly unlikely thoughts of Oncillas and black-footed cats, and iberian lynx and marbled cats, flat-headed cats and bay cats....
    In all seriousness, it is disappointing that a zoo as large as Chester has no proper small cats on display. (I say proper because cheetahs don't count.)
