I liked the Orangutans, There was an elderly one sitting looking at the people looking down from above, it would find a small twig or leaf and throw it up to the people and then offer an outstretched hand to say "now you give me something." Despite the signs warning not to feed the animals people were throwing fruit down to it...
This was my Spanish zoo experience in Madrid. Although, replace fruit with crisps in my case! I suppose in many cases, however when travelling with somebody who is unable to negotiate stairs or with bulky and heavy luggage, it would be a real pain!
