Sounds like you had a great time! Regarding the Barcelona zoo, what was your favorite exhibit?

I’d be in real trouble in that case, as my sense of direction is absolutely non existent! Google maps all the way!

I liked the Orangutans, There was an elderly one sitting looking at the people looking down from above, it would find a small twig or leaf and throw it up to the people and then offer an outstretched hand to say "now you give me something." Despite the signs warning not to feed the animals people were throwing fruit down to it...

But you could use the stairs if the lift was broken. ;)

This was my Spanish zoo experience in Madrid. Although, replace fruit with crisps in my case!

I suppose in many cases, however when travelling with somebody who is unable to negotiate stairs or with bulky and heavy luggage, it would be a real pain!

OK, I will put my hand up, it was me that started some Spanish children singing "I Like To Move It, Move It" at the Lemur exhibit on Saturday...

And as long as you enjoyed it, that’s all that matters!

Especially as I have since found out the spelling is really chiperone. And I also found they are really baby squids. :D

Visits two and three are on the drawing board and will probably be booked in the next few days. They will be revealed at a later time. :D

Exciting times! I can’t wait to book my next couple of trips and get them set in stone.
