    The zoo have rescued 113 red-footed tortoises and are giving people the chance to adopt and name them for £30 each:

    That's a brave move, especially with the current health crisis. But I admire nonetheless and hope all 113 pull through. Within an hour, they seem to have raised the needed money as all torts have been named

    Sad news announced in the last hour

    Brown bear Suzy was put down last night after a couple weeks of deteriorating health. A malignant tumour was discovered. This leaves them with 0:1 Eso

    FSZ just giving page has finished and although they didn't manage to hit their target of £100,000 they did raise £73,237!!!!

    Hopefully they will survive the winter and have successful 2021

    On FB, Brian and Shirley have posted that a new area of land has been acquired by the zoo. This area will house new tapir, emu and capybara facilities, new rescue facilites, red panda and penguin enclosures
