The Florida International Teaching Zoo is a facility located in Sumer County, Florida. It boasts the largest troop of patas monkeys in the Americas as well as other species such as spotted hyena, jaguar, emu, broad-snouted caiman, nene goose, cottontop tamarin, owl monkey, blue-billed teal, African crested porcupine, Lady Amherst pheasant, and Mandarin duck. On June 4th, 2021, the zoo announced that they have acquired (1.1) crested partridges from an undisclosed facility and will be located in the zoo's aviary.
