I have just moved the forum to a new server - this new server gives us far more flexibility with the configuration of the site and the software we use, so I should be able to do a lot more with it.

However, this is a completely new type of server, one which I've not used before - and I may well have missed some configuration steps at some point which are required to make everything work.

So please expect problems until I can get everything ironed out. Let me know if you have difficulties, and especially send me the details of any error messages you receive.

I'm also not sure how well the new server will perform - it might be a bit under-powered right now, I've got to do some performance tuning and may well need to upgrade the server with some extra memory and CPU ... so please give me your feedback on whether it seems to be faster or slower than the old server.

    Can´t view the gallery

    Hie guys,
I am very sorry to bother you, but for some reason, I can´t view the gallery. When I click on the "Gallery" just a blank page with "403 Forbidden" opens. Is it some kind of error on my side?
I can view photos of specific users (if I click on "view all items uploaded by ... in gallery) but not the Gallery itself.

    Thank you for your help.

Yes, it's a problem after the server migration last night that I haven't had a chance to track down yet.

You can still get to the gallery by going to http://www.zoochat.com/83

    This should now be fixed.

Please let me know if you find any other issues with the site.

I've been trying to upload some photos, but I keep getting a 413 error and none of the photos will upload.

Hey Sim, it seems that several North American members cannot upload photos after the migration.

    Can't download pictures

I can't seem to download any pictures for the last three days. I've noticed others have been able to so I was wondering what was going on? If someone could help that would be great!

    thx,

    Thor

Hi sim!:) I think its great you've migrated to a new server. Can I ask, is the new mobile site up + running? Because I'm using it on my blackberry right now, and the layout + graphics seem different from normal, but more suited to mobile use. Thanks :)

I've noticed in the galleries, that when you click on the menu bar for sorting (User/Title/Upload time/Ratings/Views etc) it defaults everytime to Last Post. This makes it tedious if you're looking through a large gallery (like Taronga) because nothing is in any order (like alphabetical, or upload date).

    Cheers

    :p

Sim, I was just looking through the gallery and none of the photos are showing up. Is it just me or is there something going on in the site?

I can't see any pictures either.....

Also uploaded a load of photos last weekend which appear to have been lost although I guess that was the previous (now sorted) problem?

Now I'm having a different problem, I keep getting three quarters of the uploading done and then, it says forbidden.
