    I have noticd longleats zebra herd has decreased. Is there any new arrivals?

    A new mare arrived from Sweden at the start of this year as well as a new stallion from Ireland called Guiness.

    The male at longleat, Doto, is from Woburn, at Woburn he was a great breeding male and is greatly missed.

    I recieved an email today form longleat saying that there are some expectant giraffes due later this year. :)

    Did they say if the last calf to be born there (Henry in 2007) had been moved on yet?

    No it wasn't. Animal Park stopped filming in late 2007/early 2008. Century left in June. His arrival was filmed by Five for Zoo Days though.

    Don't know about the other's but I'm pretty sure that Jemima was one of Jolly's babies.

    Who can tell me the names of the giraffes born 2011.

    In november 2011 must be born by GLORIA.
    In december 2011 must be born by TWIZA.

    The giraffe born august 2011 is LEWA to mother GERTRUDE i know.

    Any updates on recent arrivals in the herd ? As of last year I know Becky was still going strong at the age of 23yrs (DOB 1992) Twiza died 2014? Imogen died 2012/13 ? Chakula also died unsure of year, Can anyone add to this ? Much appreciated for any information :)

    What happend with Shelly, Sheldon, Reggie, Ronnie, Percy, Lewa, Henry, Gloria, Gertrude,

    In the group still there Thea, Lady Emma, Piper, Tara, Odel, Nora, Mary, Molly???, Kate, Ella, Jemima, Thorn

    Would be great to get some infos
