Hey, I'm looking for some zoological societies etc to get involved with. I am mainly interested in marine zoology, but I don't really mind as long as it has a zoological theme. Regarding getting involved, I'm hopefully going to uni in september to do Zoology so i'm looking for anything that would help me with my CV/be interesting to do as I start out in the Zoological field. Hope this makes sense, I'm just looking for zoological things to do with my time.
I'm interested in the same field. My advice to you would volunteer at the nearest zoo or aquairum. I started volunteering in 2008 and that has really helped me "get a foot into the door," so to speak.
Are you looking for local opportunities or international? Where are you based? There'll be hundreds of things depending on the time and skills you have to offer.
