    Columbus Zoo has a polar bear underwater tunnel and viewing while Point Defiance Zoo doesn't have a underwater viewing tunnel but still has viewing windows where you can see the polar bears swim year round.

    This tiny zoo is filled with millions of Chironomus plumosus for about a week and a half every year in May.

    This zoo was once known to have the only known proboscis monkeys in the United States until the last two monkeys were sent to Singapore Zoo as of 2003.
