That Hat Yai Zoo is a small municipal mainly bird collection situated outside the southern Thailand city of Hat Yai. Due to its close proximity to Songkhla Zoo there is some confusion. People will sometimes call the Songkhla collection the Hat Yai Zoo and so a collection gets missed. Though hardly a great place the Hat Yai collection is set within a beautiful park and has one of the largest aviaries in Asia.
