A week ago the new Australien-Erlebniswelt opened! The following species can be found there (atleast have been mentioned on their instagram): - Western Brush-tailed bettongs (Bettongia penicillata ogilbyi) - Rufous rat kangaroos (Aepyprymnus rufescens) Atleast two bird species, which according to ZTL are not kept at Haus des Meeres. - Eastern rosellas (Platycercus eximius) - Swift parrots (Lathamus discolor) Could someone confirm whether Haus des Meeres actually has these species? I saw at least 1 in the Kroki Park as early as September 2023. Maybe these are new specimens, but it is definitely not a new species.
