Hello, my name is Junha kim, living in Jinju city, South Korea.

I am an amateur animal illustrator and I am studying the history of Korean zoos and wildlife in korea. In addition, I am looking for ways to improve the environment about 'Jinyangho Zoo' in Jinju city.

The Jinyangho Zoo is one of the worst public zoos in Korea along with Dalseong Park Zoo in Daegu metropolitan city. I grew up watching the animals in Jinyangho zoo since I was young, and now I'm trying to help them. Therefore, I want to learn more about zoos here. and I think I can provide you with information about Korean zoos too. so if you have any questions about Korean zoos or wildlife in korea, ask me. I'll answer as much as I know.

I am not good at English, but please understand...and the animal paintings I drew can be seen at the link below. I'm not good at drawing, and I didn't drew and uploaded illustration for a long time because my shoulder is hurts, but I hope you'll appreciate it.

Also from the Netherlands : welcome to ZooChat ! Very nice to have a Zoo-minded person in a ( zoo-wise ) almost unknown country like South Korea.
Your illustrations are really great and I can immaginate they really would be great to be published in for example childeren-books about natural history !
Hope you can find usefull information to improve the keeping of animals in at least some zoos in your country and I ( and I guess also a lot of other ZooChatters ) would love to read more zoo ( and wildlife ) news from South Korea !
