Hello to all I'm from Ireland and I have a big interest in animals, particularly mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians. I often make visits to Dublin zoo, but I also visit Belfast zoo at least once a year. I know the animals in Dublin and Belfast well, and I'm happy to answer questions about them. I attended the Dublin zoo summer camp, and I also did the Belfast and Fota summer camps when I was younger. I am currently doing a zoology course, and when I'm finished, I hope to work in one of the Irish zoos. I also like to go out and search for native wildlife. I chose this username because I love babirusas, because they are just so amazing. I know I saw one in Chester zoo four years ago, though I wasn't really into them back then. I really hope I get to see them again someday. Before logging onto zoochat, I made very frequent visits here to read the forums. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi! Sounds very interesting! I dream about a trip to Ireland, especially for Belfast (and theirs asian golden cat species) and Fota, where live one of "my" sumatran tigers, Denar from Warsaw . What do you like the most about Dublin zoo if I may ask? : )
Well, one of the highlights in Dublin for me would be the okapi. They just fascinate me in every way! I was also a fan of the Asian elephants when I was a kid, and I still enjoy them. I also like the spectacled bears and sun bears in Belfast zoo, as well as the giant anteaters.
