Here is some really great news. Honolulu Zoo, which lost its AZA accreditation back in 2016, has regained its status as an AZA accredited zoo. Congrats! Honolulu Zoo wins back accreditation by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums
Really great achievement as they have been lagging under the bus for the last few years. It seems the current director - herself born and bred Honolulan - and team have been able to get out of the dumps. Phew....
Linda Santos is an awesome woman, and its no surprise at all the zoo is flourishing under her command! She's truly what the zoo has been needing for a long time.
