I seem to remember that one of the male cubs went to Perth Zoo, with another one recently joining them, while the female cub born is still at Monarto. This will leave I think 4 at Monarto, 2 males, 2 females.
Yeah, they are not breeding, and they have two young males. So basically Perth's hyenas are just for display.
Monarto have done it again... A new pup has recently been born and is said to be doing well. The pack now numbers five with the new arrival Hyena birth adds to Monarto's pack - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
another exciting birth at Monarto. I would like to see hyenas at more of the zoos, they would be a good species for Werribee.
