So my grandma has a land of her property and when I asked her if she could give it to me to start something like an exotic farm/mini private zoo she said that she likes my passion for the animals very much and would be happy if she can help in any way possible, so when I have enough money I will start to build, but where do I start? So I thinked that maybe here are some people who can help me... Perhaps I can find some useful recommendation; by the way I live in Sardinia, the big island in the middle of the Mediterrean Sea.

    That is excellent, Mickey!!
What species are commonly kept in Sardinia or can be bought easily?

We have a mediterrean climate so a really big range of animals can be kept here, there are also other private zoos with quite rare animals, but if I have to buy them then I have to take them on a ship to make them arrive on the island because the most important breeding centrers are in the peninsula; besides the Guardia Forestale keep sequestred animals that were in really bad conditions or were kept illegally, I can ask them to give me the animals.

That is perfect, many abused exotic animals could be rehomed to your farm as ambassador animals. Of course, you can take this abused animals and buy more rarer species.

Are you planning to let the public visit or is it just for you and Nonna?

Your first step should be to research the legal requirements of Sardinia regarding the establishment and running of a zoo and whether you can live up to them. Your second should be to evaluate your current and future financial and occupational status as self-critically and objectively as possible - including the definition of what is "enough money".

I think It will be open to the public so I can have more money to feed the animals and expand, maybe you don't know but we don't have an official zoo in the island so if I can get the official "identification" It would be a great step.
To answer at @Batto , I'm alredy aware of the minimun requirements for the animals and the legal stuff, also I can have financial help and a job that can make this possible

So what requirements does "the legal stuff" include exactly and do you live up to them? And what does "can have a job" mean?

Sorry I've written bad the part of the job, I alredy have one; for the legal stuff I mean the certificates of the animals, like the origins in captivity, the space that they need and private shelters to relax without the stress of the visitors, but I don't understand what do you mean for "living up with them".

So your local authorities do not demand any credentials regarding your professional expertise and experience on behalf of (wild) animal husbandry and zoo (business) management? No evidence of factual training in any relevant field? No declaration of agreement by the local municipal administration / municipal authorities, the nature conservation or the public construction authority, the federal veterinary office, the fire service or the local neighbouring residents? No proof of insurance? No certificate of good conduct? No construction permit? No business plan, no financing model, no business registration etc? So in a nutshell, everyone can open up a zoo in Sardinia? Geez; sounds a lot like Oklahoma or Wisconsin to me. Maybe I should have established WdG there in the first place...;)

Wisconsin is great. It makes it easy to acquire certain things, which I appreciate.

    Like, cheese?
@birdsandbats Norway was a tongue-in-cheek reference to the eighth episode of "Tiger King".
