Instituto Butantan Instituto Butantan gains accreditation as a zoo

News : The world famous biological research centre Instituto Butantan (which has displayed venemous and toxic species of reptile , amphibian and insects for almost a century) has recently gained accreditation as a zoo.

This new classification it is suggested better fits with the institute's role in environmental education and the display of wild animals to the public.

Great news! Glad to hear it will improve things further. When I worked there briefly in 2016 the Museo Biologico was already an excellent zoological facility.
