I've recently started up an exciting new social enterprise in Cambridge, UK (blueskiesc.co.uk); driving towards connecting local academics and professionals with conservation organisations that are working in the field. Initially we have been holding events specifically in Cambridge that brings professionals together to discuss potential solutions to problems being faced by specific conservation organisations abroad, however now we're looking to pilot an online hub-type structure to provide the same service - bringing people together from a wider scope to collaborate. In order to pilot this program we're starting up a linkedin group, and will monitor initial successes from here. We would like to extend an invitation to all avid and passionate conservationists to our linkedin group - "BlueSkies collaboration" (BlueSkies collaboration | LinkedIn). Any help or activity from members in this effort would be greatly appreciated.
