Very sad news, and also because that now removes IOW from the already diminishing list of Jaguar holders in the UK - for now at least.

Two new mystery animals are coming on Sunday 22nd April for the important purpose of friendship for one of our own [IMG] Can you guess who may be coming? Going to be a long drive, but will be worth it. They will only arrive at around 7.30 pm, but will be out and about exploring on Monday 23rd April.

The map attached to the post shows the animals are coming from Reaseheath any idea's what they might be?

It would appear from a recent facebook post that the arrivals due tomorrow will be companions for Jackson, the black-faced black spider monkey.

The mystery is over. Our two new animals are two beautiful Spider Monkeys who have come from Reaseheath Zoo to be friends with Jackson. Jackson is thrilled to bits and has been a bit of a show off today. The girls spent most of the day relaxing after several hours on the road yesterday. The spider monkey in the photograph is Menga who is almost 42 years old. Daffy is the other female and I will post a picture as soon as they are out and about. Daffy is 22 years old.

Gutted to see this on social media earlier today. She was my Zoochat namesake and a cat with real character.

Very sad news to hear. They seem to be dropping like flies lately. I guess they're all of a similar age and suffer from various health issues from their past lives. It's such a shame, I remember how interesting it was the firs time I went, reading about all the different individuals' past lives.

This leaves just Simi and Aysha and the three lions.

IOW are set to rescue 5 tigers from a Spanish circus. They are 2:3 with ages ranging from 4yrs to 15yrs. Nice to see more circus animals being rescued hopefully not to be replaced

Brothers Kumba & Vigo are being rescued from a circus in Spain(although I believe they have already been moved into temporary accommodation). Nice to see more circus animals being rescued.

Saw these two last weekend, first castrated Lions I've knowingly seen. Appeared very big indeed. The male of the pair of White Lions is is extraordinarily handsome (not that one wants to encourage White akin breeding, and these will not be bred from). Star turn of this place for me, ewas Lesser Hedgehog Tenrecs.
