I watched the documentary 'Jane Goodall: Beauty and the Beasts' last night on BBC4. I was very interested to see her son, Grub, talking about his experiences of being kept in a 'cage' as an infant while chimps rampaged around him. He said he's not fond of chimps, unsurprisingly. Does anyone know what he does now (presumably in between his therapy sessions!)?

To answer my own question: in an article about Jane's new book (Jane Goodall, 50 years at Gombe) I read that Grub has recently begun an eco-tourism initiative in Tanzania. Apparently his first sentence was 'Big lion out there eat me!'

I believe that before that he was an ichthyologist.
