I posted this in the TV shows section but I thought it would be useful here as well. On the 24th (23rd US?) Nov, the long running interactive African Safari drives by Wildearth TV will be ending - the hope for the return is there but it is looking very bleak and there is nothing on the horizon unless a miracle sponsor reveals themself!

The viewers would like as many people as possible to visit the drives in these last few days to show how much they mean (and perhaps for those who haven't watched before) it will be a sign to Wildearth not to give on this fabulous resource. So if you have ever met Karula the leopard and want to see her one last time please check in this week!

The drives are at 0530 to 0830 CAT and 1600 to 1900 CAT (3 hrs each) until Thursday which will be final drive. It is the afternoon drive but it may be morning for Nthn hemisphere. Please go to timeanddate.com to do a conversion.

For anyone reading this - the afternoon drive will be on shortly ie: 1am ESTAustralia, the morning one will be mid afternoon tomorrow.

WildEarth TV (choose live safari at drive time - not the Djuma Waterhole)

There is an article here about the end of the drives and how the viewers feel. Please share it with anyone you think might be interested. We hope this is a big final week. So many people will be at a loss without them but the waterhole cameras will still be there and the chat rooms and Facebook full of safari folks.

    Thanks
