    Hi,

I hope someone can answer these questions for me. I need them for my college work.

What are the Lemurs at London zoo fed?
How old is Spike the Lemur? DOB if possible please
Are all the Ring-Tailed Lemurs one sex or are they a mixed group?

Thank you to anyone who has the answers

    It's an all bachelor group.

Greens and a bit of fruit and exotic, probably mixed up throughout the week.

I'm sure it was previously stated that the New London group came from the Whipsnade walkthrough (all males) & the island group at Whipsnade ( with one adult male) had been moved to the walkthrough there.

The London bachelor group came from four different locations, not just ZSL. They are fed fruit and vegetables but also dry biscuitty food which has all the necessary vitamins and minerals. In the wild they also eat caterpillars, birds, chameleons, grasshoppers and even spiders and their webs. The London Zoo walkthrough also has aromatic herbs like sage, lavender and catmint which they enjoy.

I'll try and find out how old Spike is for you!

No, he means Spike the ring tailed lemur who is much younger than that, and he has a little spike of fur on top of his head, so is easy to identify!
