New Look, New Beginnings for Animals and Visitors at ZooTampa at Lowry Park The zoo is now ZooTampa at Lowry Park.
Funny enough, back when they had just built the Discovery Center they had renderings of future expansions and the rendering had the name of Zoo Tampa or Tampa Zoo on them instead of LPZ. This was in the mid 90s I suppose, probably just a coincidence. The remodel of the Florida area will be good, most of that has not had much done since it opened in the early 90s.
