I wonder why no thread exists for this famous and interesting place of History in keeping cetaceans in human care, the first walrus was born here in 1975 and the first orca in 1977( not raises, as the other three calfs, unfortunately, but the beginning was made). Its sale to Seaworld and very quick and unexpected closure in 1987 was a shame for the Zooworld and a shock to all the Employees there. Last year, Marineland would had its 60ty Years Anniversary-if it would still exists.
