On January 14th, 2023, it was reported that due to a heavy storm, the zoo closed and several animals were transferred to the Monterey Zoo in California. The facility was reopened on February 9th. They didn't really have a logo before, so that should help them with branding and appearing legit! They seem to be changing their name too, everything before was labeled Applegate Park Zoo. It's a nice logo, but might not translate well to small versions.
