Which species and where were successfully mixed with crocodiles? Fish, water turtles and small arboreal birds are common, but what else?
Kingdoms of the Night in Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo cohabited juvenile alligators and common raccoons in the early 2000's. It was shown on the TV Show "Ultimate Zoo" on Animal Planet at that time.
I didn't know St. Augustine Alligator Farm, are they Reeve's muntjac (Muntiacus reevesi) or Indian muntjac (Muntiacus muntjak sensu lato)?
I’m not positive, though if I had to guess, probably Reeves. The mix was discounted years ago, so I never saw it in person, though I did see a picture of it when I was in Croc School. I might have a copy of that image in the course materials somewhere
Taman Safari Bogor mix their Asian forest tortoises with two young saltwater crocodiles. There's a plan in Batu Secret Zoo to add a young false gharial to the new proboscis monkey exhibit (Who itself previously houses an adult gharial), but I don't know if it's been done.
Blue Planet Aquarium in the UK have their Cuiver's caimans sharing a tank with a lot of cichlids and a Geoffroy's side-neck turtle. Whether or not the caimans have ever tried to eat the cichlids I'm not entirely sure.
