Can't help you much, but to me the 'hawk' looks more like a cuckoo, and the tanager is like a chickadee.
1 is Asian koel (Eudynamys scolopaceus), 2 is gray jay (Perisoreus canadensis). The 'kookaburra' photo in the gallery is a collared aracari (Pteroglossus torquatus). The rest of the birds are tagged with right family.
I thought that the so called kookaburra was a green aracari. I was just wondering what the other birds were. Many different kinds of birds were found in this birdhouse that existed form 1949 to 1990 including such native birds like a american robin were found in there. Thank you anyway for the identification though!
This is a collared aracari with dark belly band, dark chest spot and distinct beak pattern. Compare green aracari with different beak pattern and all pale underparts.
