In Belgium the first nest of 6 eggs of the Beauty ratsnake has found. In the last years regulary adult and young were found but now the evidence of breeding is complete ( article in Dutch ) : https://www.natuurpunt.be/nieuws/ta...rt-dankzij-microklimaat-20160707#.V3_GK_mLSM_
As I assume the snakes are only found in one area, close a railway, were a different mirco-climate exists, making it possible for the snakes to breed. The article doesn't say anything about possible actions taken. As the snake occurs only in a small area, I think it would be possible to catch most of them, at least enough to make the population collapse.
