    To start off with..
Three major moves have taken place in the last 10 days...

On 18th February, Hybrid male Tiger Malchik (Ex Linton) was sent on a 6 month loan to Dudley Zoo. He will be temporailly filling their empty enclosure whilst they wait for a new pair of Sumatrans following the death of there elderly female in December.

Anuy the Amur Leopard (born 2008 at WHF) flew off towards Hiroshima Zoo in Japan last week. He arrived safely and is said to be settling in well

Asu the Sumatran Tiger (born 2008 at WHF) left for Zoo Parc Beauval, France on 24th February. His brother, Bawa went to Flamingo Land at the end of last Summer.

All taken from the parks Facebook page

Just found this on facebook so thought I would drop a line on here

It's an exciting day today 12 - 07 - 2011 at WHF. We have now taken delivery of our new male Amur Leopard - Hogar, a 4 year old. Hogar will be in quarantine for 6 months and in time will hopefully get friendly with Xizi, our breeding female.

Hogar has come to us from the Czech Republic.

I've just received an e-newsletter from PWP which says that Narnia (the female white tiger) will be leaving WHF and returning to PWP next weekend and will be joined by a male white tiger before the end of October (also posted on the PWP forum).

I have just spent Saturday 29/10/11 photographing the most georgous cats. A worthwhile visit to anyone that likes big cats. The two male sumantran tiger cubs were out enjoying themselves,

Makari one of the hybrid male tigers has died.

Makari died naturally, as a result of a long term medical condition. He did not suffer and passed away peacefully overnight.
