The two injured cubs, Arya and Surya, are now back with Banda and Bintang in the tiger enclosure. It's looking good.

Hi Kerry, the cubs are back with their mother now and they have grown quite big. You can see them for yourself on the web can at CheckItLive.com : Paignton Zoo Tiger Cubs, Devon, England
you will have to have a bit of patience waiting for them to cross the screen but it is well worth it when they do.

Does anyone know if this was just a rumor or is Tenang moving elsewhere? If so where's his planned destination?

3 maned wolf pups have been born at the zoo.
The pups are believed to have been born around 9th December. Keeping staff have let the parents, female Maya male Smolis, get on with the job of rearing the pups.
The last litter was born in December 2006, when four pups were reared. Both adults are eight years old. Male Smolis came from Gdansk Zoo, Poland and female Maya from Berlin Tierpark, Germany. They came to Paignton Zoo in June 2005.

As posted elsewhere a baby Rothschild Giraffe was born this morning.

Edit: Mother is Janika, father is Paignton's bull Yoda and the calf is a male.

    Red Crowned Mangabeys.

The Red crowned Mangabey group that came from Newquay last year is STILL not on show yet and remains in the small Vet Centre cage. I believe they are to go in Monkey Heights but the 3 b/w Colobus males need to be moved first.

Surely a simple exchange of the Mangabeys and Colobus would do the trick? The Colobus are very inactive compared to the Mangabeys and don't utilise the space they have anyway. Paignton could then decide their future while holding them off exhibit.

I can't see it mentioned anywhere they also have a baby Azara Agouti. It is extremely hard to see under the shade of the tree. Only noticed it by accident whilst taking pictures of the baby Cusimanse.

The white KFL Antelope calf is getting quite big now. When she stands up you can easily see her from the Elephant and Giraffe enclosure. Tonda is growing very quickly. Duchess didn't seem to bothered being on her own, she seemed content meandering around.

The new male black rhino is a stunning animal. Hopefully he can do his job when required. Would be very nice to have another baby black rhino at the zoo.

That sounds like a very good idea. I think more people would stop at look at a group of Mangabeys than the often static Colobus.
