Hello ZooChatters, this thread is dedicated to the North American animals of Japan. Due to Japan's northernly climate, Japan is the country with the most North American animals outside of North America (correct me if I'm wrong) and most North American animals there thrive, like reindeer, polar bear, elk, bobcat and others. Unfortunately, some have been lost like Butch the pronghorn and Penke the mountain goat, the last of their kinds in Japan respectively. For now, I'm going to be listing the North American mammals that reside in Japan. Tell me if you want the zoos of where these species are kept at.
