Sunday afternoon was spent at Africa Alive, which for me was another major disappointment. I can always tell how interesting a venue was for me by the number of photos of different species that I take and the low number I took speaks volumes for my experience. Not as poor as Yorkshire Wildlife Park but again almost nothing I hadn't seen before and a lot of large extremely uninteresting enclosures (plus a few good ones).
Phew..you missed then, one of the worlds rarest zoo animals(unless its died)in the shape of "Angus" the male Southern Helmeted Curassow. Its the only one on public display in Europe and i havent seen the species in any North American zoo either.
