Recently the zoo received a Boa constrictor (Boa constrictor) from a private individual.
    Could someone confirm this?

two female cows are left at Odense.
    Its Femmer and Henriette.

it’s the Zoo’s intention to get a new breeding male when the coordinator has found a proper match.

I uploaded approximately 100 photos of Odense Zoo into the gallery. An extensive review will follow in the next couple of days on my Snowleopard's 2022 Road Trip thread.

After a decade had passed since the last time I had heard news over the masterplan and jusz wanted to ask on here if anybody knew something odense posted an update.

Originaly the then still present deers and macaques were part of the plan, but either left the zoo or got a new enclosure either way. Also no longer part of the new concept are the elephant and snow leopard.

But happily the indian one horned rhino along gibbons and small clawed otters, seemingly kept together.
The first pictures show a restaurant next to the community enclosure and the article mentions a large tropical house that would have the worlds first underwater viewing window for the species. Guess further information to additional inhabitants of the habitat are yet to be disclosed.

Happily the tigers are also getting an enlargement of their current enclosure.

This is correct - Odense Zoo released a press statement about a new Asian Project. They are aiming for a 13.3 million euro exhibit including the species you mentioned and a few non mentioned species (6 species in total)

the area will be the old quarantine area and where the “lounge” area and the house Atollen is located today.

new quarantine area will be placed within the new buildings.

this is mentioned to be the biggest project in the zoos history. Odense Zoo hope to have it finished in 2026.

Information is a little sparse at this point.

The zoo's pair of Siberian tigers (Panthera tigris altaica) have recently been put together, which could hopefully result in offspring at some point.

Rumors from Odense Zoo mention that they finally decided to use the old coral reef tunnel for a new exhibit. Since it was closed, the glass tunnel has just been a irrelevant walk through passage before entering the penguin exhibit.

Odense Zoo recently received 6-year-old manatee male Canouan from ZooParc de Beauval. He is the new breeding male at Odense, where he now lives with females Femmer and Henriette.
