After a decade had passed since the last time I had heard news over the masterplan and jusz wanted to ask on here if anybody knew something odense posted an update. Originaly the then still present deers and macaques were part of the plan, but either left the zoo or got a new enclosure either way. Also no longer part of the new concept are the elephant and snow leopard. But happily the indian one horned rhino along gibbons and small clawed otters, seemingly kept together. The first pictures show a restaurant next to the community enclosure and the article mentions a large tropical house that would have the worlds first underwater viewing window for the species. Guess further information to additional inhabitants of the habitat are yet to be disclosed. Happily the tigers are also getting an enlargement of their current enclosure. Presse | Odense ZOO

Rumors from Odense Zoo mention that they finally decided to use the old coral reef tunnel for a new exhibit. Since it was closed, the glass tunnel has just been a irrelevant walk through passage before entering the penguin exhibit.
