The Zoo will recieve some new anmals for its breeding-programm with the Japanese crocodile newts ( Echinotrion andersoni ).
For some time a number of animals were found in a postal packet in Belgium and because its in Belgium forbidden to import animals in this way, the animals were taken in costody and send to the Zoo of Antwerp and there after to an Amphibian-specialist.
Now the animals will be send back to their home-land and hopefully help the breeding-programm at Okinawa.
