This sounds very troubling... the 6 tamarins who died did so in a plastic cooler with holes of what may be travel related shock. Is it normal to house tamarins inside coolers? As the one article points out they are meant to be air tight and this could have caused other problems. The curator of primates has been accused of refusing to help the 3 suvivors, which includes a 7 week old baby now being hand reared.
