Yes, Ieft at 7.30 for a really convenient train.
Sounds like you could have done with hanging around the extra few hours available
I certainly could have, but I missed all of the above through lack of awareness rather than lack of time. Where are the gharials? There must be some part of the reptile ship I didn't find.
In my visit (2018), there was a single gharial baby in an elevated aquarium pannel in the right side of the ship.
There's a handful of baby ones on-display in one of the tanks in the reptile ship we're only talking titchy little foot-long jobs to be fair.
Its that sort of place...I missed a number of things too- principally the big open elephant paddock which I think also has the brow-antlered deer in it. The second orangutan indoors is more simple though still temple-styled, but very dark.
The still very small baby gharials (there were still 2 of them) are in the terrarium immediately after the terrarium with the tomato frogs/chameleons/geckoes where we bumped into each other! It's just a fairly empty aquarium with a few rocks and branches in one corner, and as TLD mentioned they're still tiny.
I think we can blame the absurd amount of people in the boat at that time!
