I believe alpacas are in the old white tailed deer exhibit in Kids Kingdom. I saw some pictures on Twitter.

Was the artificial insemination of the elephant cow Victoria successful? Perhaps the Pittsburgh Zoo will probably not announce it because of activists' attacks on their elephant breeding. If these attacks weren't, their breeding might be much more flourishing. They have four breeding cows and no bull. Are they planning to bring some new breeding bull? I'd suggest Tutume from Granby Zoo.

Does anyone have any updates on the Top of the World project? The zoo has been (remarkably) quiet over the past year on this major, planned expansion that is ~50% complete.

I thought the initial schedule projected a completion date of 2020, but the zoo is no where near completing the project on that timeline currently.

The zoo has been remarkably sluggish on the animal profiles on their website, as opposed to the rather massive group of animal profiles on the last website.

This hits me hard, he was the first elephant seal I knew about in captivity.
