Let's hope the bonobos found in the files will end up being in the actual game. Also, due to the fact that the tiger has already been given a custom purple skin, I wouldn't be surprised if people eventually found out how to add animals to Planet Zoo like they did with Zoo Tycoon 2.
I hope that the community makes mods for the game like in zt2. I don't think that this is going to be easy, but I don't really know. Do you guys have any DLC predictions? I have plenty of them
They might release DLCs by geographical region or continent e.g. Australasia, South America, etc. or they will put out different types of animals like birds or reptiles or even endangered species.
Is an ungulate DLC way too much to ask?? Even though, I would expect both Australasian and south American DLC's, and the birds+aviaries.
I would also like to see the Planet Zoo DLC's by every continent each with full of animals from various biomes so there is plenty of choice for any zoo you build. I do have a big wishlist of mammals and some birds that I would like to see in the game. Would anybody be also tempted to recreate a real life zoo?
Checking the confirmed animals so far (and the leaked roster) most animals seem to be from Asia, Africa and south/north America. Only a few(5 so far) leaked animals seem to be from Europe, Oceania and Antarctica/polar. So thinking about the DLC's for the future I find it likely we might have some DLCs from different places around the world. For example one with animals, decorations and more from Europe, etc. I surely would like to see a DLC with different kinds of birds though. It would be cool if they would do some kind of DLC collabs with real zoos aswell! I don't know exactly how it would go down though!
Maybe packs of types of fencing and architecture used in real life zoos? That would be an interesting way of mixing both!
I think we could get a couple of Deer species as there are none on the game yet. Just looking at my Planet Zoo wish list, there are so many mammal species that I would really love to see for the release and future DLCs. I would be so happy if that happened.
The leaked roster from earlier (been correct so far!) listed at least one type of deers. But they could not found the exact species in the files, but they think it's likely going to be Red deer. Dik Diks also got teased in an article about the game a while ago.
The Exhibit species in the recent released Eurasia DLC is still the tank species, it is almost unlikely we will have flying birds in PZ1
