wow, fantastic news! , paris is obviously a world class city, let us hope it can build a world class zoo.
yep, and the main reason they're still there is they don't want to split up the group and no other zoo was willing/able to house some 15 giraffes. and to answer cat-mans question as to why the zoo was closed. I visited the zoo twice during its last years of opening. due to bad (or maybe rather no) maintenance, the place was litterally a death trap with several places not accessible due to the risk of falling debri (fake rock and the likes) at that point the park no longer housed elephants, big cats and the nocturnal house was closed and emptied.
