As of today you can keep track of the black rhino called Malaika who is 15 months pregnant and due to give birth over the next few days at the Magdeburg Zoo.

I have been following this camera for a couple of weeks. I missed the actual birth by about 10 minutes, but had a traumatic 2 hours watching him trying to stand while his feet slid everywhere. I was pleasantly surprised to see him up next morning. It is quite amazing to watch mother being so gentle, not a trait one would imagine.
I am still excited watching every day. Before the birth the morning carrots were laid out in a heart shape for the viewers. Well done to all concerned; Live cctv is quite brave for behind the scenes, but I am sure greatly appreciated by many.
I hope other zoos take note and fit cameras where possible.
